My issue with this is the way it is designed, they crimp the top of the metal canister, then the lid has a plastic piece that is supposed to hit that while spinning thus causing the canister to spin. Problem, i kept hearing a kerthunk kerthunk while it was running, figured it was ice sticking on the bottom, nope, one the ice cream started getting hard and the canister was harder to turn, turns out the plastic piece on the lid was folding back, thus canister not turning though the motor was. I ended up duct taping the plastic piece which allowed it to work, but the ice cream still would not freeze, while the motor quit. Returned it after 2 uses.
